Caratz Platform

The Caratz platform is structured with two core purposes in mind

1. Implementation as a wallet

2. Functionality as an exchange

Wallet

All users are given a Caratz wallet upon signing up for the platform. This in-house wallet allows users to engage their funds with the Caratz ecosystem, granting access to a number of custom platform features. Additionally, they will be able to link external ERC-20 wallets to their accounts as well, which will enable fund transfers through the Ethereum network. The Caratz wallet will display Ethereum and Caratz token balances, with the option of additional ERC-20 token balances by ticker entry. This also includes complete compatibility with balance-dependent functionalities, including but not limited to: Proof-of-stake (PoS) rewards, master nodes, soft/hard forks, and token airdrops.

There are two main types of transactions.

🔺 Smart-contract token transfers generated through the Ethereum network will allow users to create specific transactions that can interact with wallets outside of the Caratz ecosystem.

🔺 In-house API transfers through the Caratz framework that are accredited to users’ accounts with zero gas fees until withdrawal to an external wallet.

🔥 Token Sale

Unlike many other projects, Caratz does not just conduct a Token sale to raise money and then think about how to build the product. Caratz already has a working prototype, which will be opened to customers for alpha testing during the Token sale.

Caratz is the primary token that will be utilized by the exchange and transaction platform. A permanent fixed quantity of 125MM Caratz tokens will be issued, with 20MM frozen until 2019. Caratz will be run natively on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token.
